Q: Even with a strong signal the connection to my router drifts to another router.  Is there a setting on the mac to prevent this drifting?

Is there a setting on my laptop and desk top to prevent the roaming of the wi-fi signal?  I get a strong connection via my Comcast business account but if it's not used over a period of an hour or so it roams to another router at an adjacent business.  Needless to say this is very annoying.

Not sure how your issue relates to the products that are supported in this forum..... the Apple AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme or Time Capsule.....these devices:

But, did you delete the other network from the other router using System Preferences / Network / Wifi on your Mac?......So that it will not log on to the other network at all?
