Yes. Use Office 2008 or 2011; Office 2004 will also work in 10.6.8 or earlier.

Note that the pre-2006 iMacs this forum covers will not run Office 2011.

Go to Apple menu -> About this Mac.

If it says iMac G3, iMac G4, or G5 you are in the correct forum. If it says Intel, we can ask to have your thread moved, as the Intels are not PPC.
