Cannot airprint web page unless PC is on

Have an epson wf3520 just installed. I have 2 older PC's and 2 iPads on the network. Printer works fine printing using airprint from pages, but won't print from a web page unless one of the PC's is on. Any ideas? I'm not very techno savvy, but I think it must have something to do with the network
