I installed fan control on my MBP w/ Retina and changed my mind on it. I read the other posts but when in the library folder I couldn't find such files. I deleted the support files that I found in my "all documents" folder. I still have the fan control panel in my settings app. Can anyone tell me how to uninstall it completely and if needed reset It to Apples settings. Thanks for your time!

Do you mean that you still have Fan Control showing in System Preferences ?.
If so, did you really remove /Library/PreferencePanes/Fan Control.prefPane ? (that's the main Library, not your User account one, although check there too, or just ctrl/right click on the item in System Preferences & choose Remove.
Yes, it's still in System Preferences. I went to my view options and checked the box that said show library folder. I went to the Home folder and went to the Library folder from there. I went into the PreferencePanes folder but it was empty. How do I get to the main Library folder. And when I delete it, will I have to reset anything or does the OS automatically control the fan.
Use Finder - Go menu - Go to Folder & type in /Library/PreferencePanes incuding the initial /
It's normal for the one in your Home folder to be empty.

That should also remove it, without needing to use Finder.
