magic mouse stopped scrolling

Hello,

All of a sudden my magic mouse will no longer scroll. It still responds to right/left clicks, but just won't resonde to scrolling. Any suggestions?

I also have had a Magic Mouse scrolling problem, in my case using one with a mid-2012 MacBook Air running 10.9.2.

It seems that there are as many solutions to the scrolling problem as people posting about them.

Here is what worked for me:

Go to user ~/Library/Preferences

Delete two files, namely com.apple.universalaccess.plist and com.apple.universalaccessAuthWarning.plist

(In my case I also had an old lockfile, which I also deleted.)

Remake the preferences by going to System Preferences... | Accessibility | Mouse & Trackpad | Trackpad Options...

My scrolling returned.

Some other people report that deleting com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist works.
