redeem credit

I bought a $50.00 card and I used some of it to buy items. I have since lost the card. When i log in is shows i have $43.24 still in credit. When I try and buy anything from the store it wants to take it from my credit card, not from my existing credit of $43.24. Help.

If the iTunes Store account was originally set up with a credit card that may have expired, you will be asked to provide updated information to make sure there is a valid card on file, even if you currently have existing iTunes Card credit available. If you do not want a card listed, you may want to see if it will allow you to change the billing info to None. You may find the following articles helpful:
