Why is my Calendar Widget missing in Mountain Lion?

My Calendar is missing after the update on Mountain Lion.

I have checked the other discussions, and the web they gave us, but none of them worked.

I have checked the one which we had to delete something like the com.apple.dashboard thingy, but it didn't work for me either.

I checked a discussion telling me to go to Macintosh HD> Library> Widgets. Something happened there.

Please check the image below.

Have you tried reinstalling OS X Mountain Lion? Reinstalling will only touch your OS X files and not your data or apps. However, it's always a good idea to do a back up prior to reinstalling the OS.

The other thing I would try is rename (from your screenshot) Calendar.widget.disabled to Calendar to see what happens.
