How can I tranfer quickbook files (windows xp) to a new mac? quickbooks version is 2011. My husband's pc needs to be replaced but not sure if it is advisable to buy a mac. Most important concern is transferring his quickbooks files to the new Imac.

If I remember correctly, Quickbooks gives you the option to export your Quickbooks data in a Quickbooks for Mac format.

thanks. helpful. i will try the quickbooks support also. my husband backs everything up on to disks - does he need to back up on to a cd or flashdrive to transfer to a new (mac)?
New Macs no longer have optical (CD/DVD) drives. To avoid having to purchases an external drive, I suggest he use a USB flash drive.
