Can't quit Finder

I created a quit option for Finder using a teriminal. Everything had gone fine and I was able to also quit Finder, but now every time I try to quit Finder it won't quit unless I have another app open like safari, word, etc..

Any advice on what might be wrong or should I just keep it the way it was with no quit Finder option??

Well, you may hate seing the finder open - that's a matter of personal preference, but it isn't using much in the way of resources and shouldn't interfere with the smooth running of your Mac.

As for your second point:

since finder is alway open it may become an easy openning and a way for someone to hack into mac.

I do not believe finder provides any kind of back-door into your system for hackers - it certainly isn't something I have ever come across as a vulnerability.

Finder does not make your Mac any more susceptible to hacking.
