Q: Unable to pair plantronics backbeat go 2 to iPad nano

Have you paired these to another device such as a smartphone? If so turn off the bluetooth on that device, put the plantronics in pairing mode and pair the backbeat's and the Nano.

I have a back beat also and was having the same problem with my ipad. I found that if you hold down the call button and volume key it seems to reset the back beat to factory setting. Once you do that then hold down the call button by itself  until the blue red light flashes for pairing. It should then show show up in your Bluetooth devices. Hope this helps.
