Am not familiar with crash log errors.

Have you tried this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

Have you tried a Restore?

Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

Exact same issue here with an iPad 3 16GB Wifi. Crashes originally started after updating 7.0.6.

Since 7.1 and 7.1.1 crashes occur less but still happening over a dozen times a day.

Appears to be when returning to device after a few mins when trying to unlock.

Done multiple wipes and restores via multiple computers etc and problem still persists.

Any help would be appreciated as it looks to me as though Apple have released software to intentionally break this iPad in order to upgrade to a letter version (I know this sounds cynical and like a conspiracy theory but spending almost £400 on a device for it not to even last two years is frankly ridiculous).

sometimes i think that apple now, is a company of "big numbers risk management" and cases like ours it is only colateral demage for them and they dont care - and they only care, that it is a fraction of % caseses in clients unsatisfaction. It has nothing to do with Jobs carring so much about user experiance.

There is no eaven ******* hardware test to unwser basic question is it hardware or software problem?

Good luck on getting someone to make sense of that. Whomever can do so ... MUST be working for Apple and paid very very well ... :-) ...

If you're having problems and want to cure them, something that generates logs like that ... then try an iTunes factory default reset. Be sure to do your backups ... though ...

Well, a troubleshooting procedure for me would be to first, not erase it on the iPad, itself, but to erase it from the iTunes program, so that it would perform a "clean system install". The other way wouldn't. So, that would be first. Then next, I would hold off the restoring of my backup and set it to factory default condition ... alone ... with none of my data on there and none of my apps on there. At that point, I would check the various functions on the iPad in this "factory fresh" condition to see if I come up with any problem. If I encountered any problem, I would go on down to Apple and show them the problem, and let them know that this is a "clean system install", that there are none of my apps on there, and that there is none of my data on there ... and therefore the problem (whatever it might be) is from a "factory fresh model" just like they sell today! I would work with Apple to cure the problem in that factory fresh state, and without any of my data on there ... from that day forward, until it was solved in that condition.

That would be my troubleshootimg methodology.
