I'm getting this pop-up message box on my iPad Air:

This iPad hasn't been backed up in 9 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is pluggedin, locked, and connected to WiFi.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do??? Does plugging it in mean to plug it into my computer with iTunes or doe it mean to plug it into a power source. It's plugged into a power source at lot, I've got WiFi at my home, the iPad cover is closed and it's lock. What do I need to do to comply with this message, and why is it coming on?

Windows 7, iPhone 5S, iPad Air

See if this makes the message go away.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
