Is this Pages 5.1? It does not export to PDF reliably (links do not export reliably, etc.) There have also been MANY reports of data corruption. It also lacks about 100 feautres present in 4.3 . Bottom line: not ready for prime time.
You are showing Mac OSX (10.7.5) but it sounds like you are using Pages 5 in Mac OSX 10.9.
Pages 5 as rkimball errors in pdf exports with formatting changes in Tables.
It has over 100 missing features and lots of other bugs including a failure to open its own files under certain circumstances which we still do not understand.
It is an undeclared beta by Apple and should not be used for real work.
Use Pages '09 which should be in your Applications/iWork folder.
