Deactivating iCloud(iMessage) so that you may use texting on android devices.

So the issue I was experiencing was that I had switched from my iPhone to an Android device. I was not getting messages from anyone who was using iMessage. When I called 1-800-MY-APPLE i was told to text 'Help' to 48369 and then once I had gotten a reply, I was to reply 'STOP'. This fixed my issue.
