Q: How to open a multitrack project recorded in Protools in Logic 9
Howdy folks -
My band just recently recorded a multitrack project in Protools 10 that we'd like to import or open in Logic 9 for overdubs and the final mix and master. I haven't a clue how to do this. I've heard Protools will export or save to .omf which can then be opened in Logic. Or alternatively the Protools can render the tracks as audio files which can then be opened/imported to Logic. But how exactly does one go about this?
All the best,
Frank

Hi, here are two methods showing you how one can approach project export tasks from ProTools to Logic:
bounce method
OMF/AAF export method
Cheers and good luck!
