How do I increase memory for Google Earth?
IPod Touch latest model, OS 7.1, 32gig, 11.1gig available.
Google Earth says running low on memory, starts slowing down, the crashes.
How can I give it more memory to run longer and smoother?

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 5G only has 512 MB of memory (do not confuse with storage)

Thanks, man. I saw that answer for iPad on Google yesterday, but thought I better be specific.
Okay, wait. How do you turn them off? I have the dock up, but I thought I read where you just hold the icon till they wiggle... That isn't doing anything.

For iOS 7, Double click the Home button, then you drag each app to the top of the screen to remove them.
For iOS 6 and below, Double click the Home button, then hold an App till it wiggles, then tap the (X) for each App you want to quit.
