a certain album ( purchased on itunes) not syncing from itunes and I cant download it directly to the phone either. Why?

OK so,

Im trying to load this album onto my Iphone 5

The songs were purchased on Itunes

I put the songs into the playlist I want synced, and all the songs show up on the phone except the this particular album! I go and try to download the songs via Icloud directly to the phone but the songs appear to be greyed out (I can touch download, and it looks like it is downloading but when its done it does not appear on the phone)

Also, in itunes when I select on this phone it says the songs are on the phone.... but they aren't

The CD I bought come in 2 "Disks" the 2nd one has instrumentals on it and syncs just fine.

THINGS I HAVE TRYIED

Unchecking sync music and synching then reloading all songs

manually manage songs and removing and reloading

giving my iphone a stern look and asking it nicely

Deleteing songs from computer and downoading them again and synching

Please Help!

Im using a mac and itunes is up to date. Not using Maverics
