When I edit a RAW file is it saved as a .jpg?

I want to make a photo book. I can only upload .jpg files, but i have a number of RAW files i would like use. I understand that iPhoto automatically saves a RAW file that is edited as a jpg, but when I use iPhoto to edit a files then look under the "info" button, the file is still listed as RAW. Ho do I know it's .jpg? Is there a way to batch select all photos to .jpg?

I use iPhoto 11.

Thanks.

iPhoto lists the original file as RAW but the edited version which will be used in books or outside of iPhoto will be a jpeg. There's nothing you need to do. Just add the photos you need to the book and go from there.
