YouTube app disappeared. Can't install from app store

Although it may be a coincidence, following the recent update the YouTube app has disappeared from my home screen. When I search the App Store for it, it is greyed out and there is no option to download or open

. Also when accessing through safari, I get the suggestion tab at the top of the page to open using you tube, however clicking the link button provides no response

Do you use restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Content>Apps. Apps can be age restricted and that could render YouTube unusable.

The update may have somehow turned on Restrictions in the Settings app. This is the only thing I can think of that would cause the YouTube app to disappear and also show it frayed out in the App Store. On my iPad Air YouTube continues to show as an app and works just fine including streaming to my ChromeCast device. Follow the instructions provided by Demo.
