Buttons in Mac Mail are blank. Wifi, battery and clock icons missing.

This afternoon it appears that all the buttons on mac mail went blank and some of the icons on the top toolbar are also invisible.

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

1. Remove CleanMyMac software if you have it installed.

2. Reinstall OS X 10.9 Mavericks
