E Books AG Settlement Email
I just received an email from 'E-Book AG Administrator' saying that a settlement was reached and an account credit is ready for me to activate. Did anyone else receive this? Is this legit?
Thanks!

I received it too, and it was flagged as spam. I was suspicious of it, so I did not click the link to "redeem my credit". Instead, I copied the Activation code in the email and pasted it into the Redeem Code section in iTunes. I got credited $3.17 to my account, so it seems legit.
I just got it as well and forwarded it to the phishing address for iTunes. I'm not opening anything until I hear back.
Thanks, I did the same and also got $3.17 credited to my iTunes account. (So apparently there's no need to click any links in the email, just redeem through iTunes.)
HUGELY misleading email... looks almost as if it were designed to be read as spam. Maybe it was, since that would keep a lot of people from redeeming their credit and save Apple a pile of cash. (I much prefer how Amazon handled it-- an email simply letting me know that they'd added money to my account.)
Great idea to paste the code into the redemption page on iTunes - worked for me and I got my $3.67 credited.
pasting the iTunes store credit activation code into the Redeem field (click your account name in the upper left corner of the iTunes store window, select 'Redeem' from the drop-down list) was the solution. Thanks!
legit...my wife is avid ebook reader - which makes me an avid buyer - pasted the code into itunes and $52.08 credit.
I just did the same thing. I did not click on the link from the e-mail, but I copied and pasted the code and clicked REDEEM in Itunes and I got $4.63 🙂 I am glad that I looked into this BEFORE I clicked that link, it could have been SPAM!
I went into iTune Store, click on Redeem and type in my code that I received from the email, and it does work.
I received mine, but I can't use it because I have a 2nd Gen iPod Touch, and all of the e-books Apple is selling requires newer devices! I've reached out to Apple and the AG asking how do I get my share of the settlement since I can't use the e-books Apple sells without spending a few hundred dollars, not worth it!
also received, went to itunes, redeemed code and got $1.46 credit...looks legit.
I got the same message (and agree it looks like spam) but used the code in iTunes for $14.14 credit, seemingly legit.
Can I redeem this on my ipad? I've tried to find a place to enter my code but haven't figured out if this code has to be used in that itunes program that runs on my computer. I thought I had "itunes" on my ipad.
Why is my redeem feature greyed out, so I am unable to activate my ebook refund in itunes on my PC?
