Q: how can i delete 3000 emails downloaded to my iphone 5 when i added an account

how can i delete 3000 emails downloaded to the iphone 5 when i added a new email account? it shows 250, when i delete 10 individually it sends another chunk. this could take forever. i don't want them on there.

You have POP mail most likely.... you can either mark them all as read, or delete them all.

Ideally, you'd want to delete them off the mail server so it won't happen again.
