Itunes Gift card reedeming.

My dad bought a itunes gift card for my birthday by email and he forwarded it to me to my email. On the email it says PIN number and Code Number. I tried putting both in my phone and it didn't work. I don't know how to reedem the card. There is no reedem now button. The email he sent it to dosen't have an apple ID. Does the email have to have an apple ID to be able to reedem? Thanks, and please reply.

Here are the instructions you should be following:

You use your own Apple ID and password; the email did not need and should not have included one. If you continue to have problems, have your father make sure he sent you the correct code. If it was a physical card, the code would be under the scratchoff on the back of the card.
