Mac Book Pro can't see Window's 7 computer on network

I have a MAC Book Pro on my network which I am able to see from my Windows 7 computer as well as access and send files, but I can't get my Mac to see my Windows 7 computer at all.

I have set up sharing in W-7 and have identified folders to share.

What am I missing

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Try using the steps in the following article to allow SMB connections, which should be able to help you connect to your Windows computer for file sharing:
