My daughter has a dongle that she uses to connect her earlier generation iPad directly to a tv. It has a 30 pin apple plug at one end and yellow/white/red composite video and audio plugs at the other.
Is there a similar gizmo for a new iPad with a lightning connector?
Or is there some other way to connect a new iPad directly to a television?

The tv in question doesn't isn't hi def and doesn't have an HDMI input. but we may be replacing it. "Discussion" is ongoing with my spouse. Thank you for the suggestion.
