I recently upgraded my system slightly...from a PPC G5 to a Mac Pro w/ Snow Leopard 10.6. I was using Tiger with Logic 7.1 with the G5......very old, I know, but very stable as well.
I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Logic 8 or 9 ? I think 10.6 will run on both but I'm leaning toward 8 since its about the same vintage as my OS
Any suggestions /comments welcome ..

Many would say that LP9.1.x on OSX 10.6.8 is amongst the best/most stable setups, but you would not have access to the most up-to-date 3rd party plugs etc.

Thanks CCT........I think I'd be willing to sacrifice recent 3rd party-plugs in exchange for the stability I've had with LP 7
This upgrade has been a royal pain, overall...... But I'll read up some more on LP 9.
