That most likely means the system is not reading your USB keyboard. By default the OS can be setup to say that if it does not detect a keyboard it pops up that Bluetooth Looking for a keyboard menu.


Try switching USB ports. Is it plugged directly into the back or a Hub or something?


Also try resetting the SMC by unplugging the machine for 30 secs and then plugging back in. Give it a few secs then turn on.


Could try NVRAM by holding Comm + Option + P + R but it probably wont do much and if its not an Apple Branded keyboard it may not work at all.


I'd grab another keyboard to test it with too if you can.
