Trouble finding device on find my iPad

Ok I hope someone can help me. First off I own 2 iPad mini's , 2 iPhones and 1 iPod touch 4. I have all devices set up in find my iPhone . First it wouldn't locate my husbands iPhone. We'll now since my daughter upgraded on her iPad mini. It no longer can be located. They both say offline. And the whole time I can see both devices are on and connected to my wifi. This is making me crazy.
