Q: My daughter deleted the app Video Star.  I have re-installed it but would like to know how I can get the videos created in Video Star back?

My daughter deleted the app Video Star.  I have re-installed it, but all the videos that were created are lost, how do I get these videos back?

    Hopefully you backed up the device before the app was deleted, and have not backed up since. If so restoring the device from the backup should replace the content of the app.

     

    Most apps that allow you to edit or generate content will have an entry under File Sharing on the Apps tab when the device is connected to iTunes. This area allows you to save the data that you generate to your computer for safe keeping.

    Restore the device from the most recent backup (after the videos were created but before the app was deleted).
