How do i send midi to an effect unit on an audio track?

i really want to use native instruments vocoder located inside reaktor in the synth razor. to use the vocoder i added razor as a effect unit on an audio track. i get audio into the synth but no out because it needs a midi signal to function. how can i route midi into the effects unit?
