I have upgraded to iOS 7.1 and now my phone will no longer connect to my car via USB. Before the upgrade I could switch between albums playlists etc but in I get. iPhone is not compatible with this accessory. It's a 2009 honda civic. Worked before update. Any ideas that doesn't involve me buying a Samsung?

It may be objecting to your cable. iOS7 checks for "authorised" accessories, so just try another "good" cable before doing anything else.
It's ios7.1 the update screwed the USB for a lot of cars. Tech support doesn't have a fix. They told me to use the headphone jack. This is a major screw up for apple. I've had this phone for less than 48 hours and I've decided to return it. Maybe an Htc or Samsung can talk to a 2013 f150.
