Change name of top folder w/out disconnecting files

Hi all,

the television network I work for recently had a name changed.

The folders on my Xsan volume still have the old name, and I want to change this to the new name.

However, doing this will result in "offline media" in all our FCP and adobe programs since there is no reference to the top folder anymore.

So my burning question is; does anybody know how to change this in an effective way? so the projects will autofix their reference to the new name of the top folder?
