how do i change files from avi to mpeg
I am wanting to add some movies to my ipad, but i need to change the files from avi to mpeg. can someone help me and tell me what the best way to do this is?

Thdere are various softweare options for doing this on a computer. If you're using a Mac, you can download Burn, which is free. As the name suggests, it's really burning software, but what it does before the burning preocess, is convert any movie file type to mpeg.
Choose the avi file you want to convert, drop it into Burn, convert and save to the directory you want it saced to, and then use that new file in itunes for transferring to your iPad.
