How do I reset my icloud calendar settings to utilize my computer calendar rather than the info from my ipad?

My device calendars are updating from my ipad calendar which is now the wrong info. I would like to synch the information from the current calendar information on my computer but do not see how to change the settings in icloud backup.

ALSO: icloud does not appear in my system preferences?? And I am running the latest software for Mac..
