Connection to printer lost.
For some years I have printed from my MBP (OSX 10.7.5) to my Canon MP620 via wireless connection to my iMac (OSX 10.7.5) which is connected by USB to the printer.
Recently the yellow ink ran out when printing from MBP and the printing stopped. I have replaced the ink and all ink levels are fine. Printing direct from the iMac is fine. But I can no longer print from the MBP. I get either:
"Cannot connect to printer" or
"Support code 300: Printer does not respond. ..."
The Ink Supply Level was still showing Yellow as empty. Now it says "Information Not Available".
I have shut down and re-started the MBP and the iMac. I have tried deleting and re-installing the printer and also resetting all printers, to no effect. However, if I connect the MBP directly to the printer via USB cable, it prints fine and shows the correct ink supply levels.
What should I do next?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
