    No, not simply. You could make another spreadsheet, your term by which I assume you mean Table, and do the division in the references to the original table. The last step would be to Copy the second table and Paste Formula Results to solidify the conversion.

    Hi Hans,

     

    To divide every Body Cell in a table by one number (for example, divide by 2), you could do this:

    Formula in B2 of the "Result" table (Fiil Right and Fill Down):

     

    =Original Data::B2/2

     

    Another way is to add a single-cell entry table ("Divisor") for the divisor:

    Formula in B2 of the "Result" table (Fiil Right and Fill Down):

     

    =Original Data::B2/Divisor::$A$1

     

    The $ symbols preserve the divisor at A1 in the "Divisor" table as you Fill Right and Fill Down in the "Result" table.

     

    The advantage of the second method is that you can quickly change the value of the divisor without editing the formulas. Save as Template for future use.
