Home Sharing Not Working!

I am currently trying to activate Home Sharing on my iMac and Apple TV to watch videos from my computer's iTunes library on my TV.

I have used Apple's Home Sharing Troublehoot guide and nothing from this list works.

Things I have tried:

1. Checking for software update on both Apple TV and iTunes on my iMac

2. Restarting Apple TV and iMac

3. Turning Home Sharing off on both Apple TV and iTunes and turning back on

4. Disconnecting and reconnecting to WIFI network

5. Tried connecting via wired connection

None of these work. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas of what to try?
