    You need to lookup how to setup SMB file sharing on your PC.

     

    Would help to know your version of Windows.

     

    I've asked this thread be moved to Windows Compatibility where more people know how to set it up.

    I went through the same process this morning and it took a call the Apple Care to find out that you have to select the picture of the PC on the Mac side (with the name under it) before you can click on Continue.

    Mine is now transferring as I type this.

    I'm transfering from Windows 7 to my Mac Mini running 10.9.2 over my TC network using Ethernet for both computers.
