I messed up my email creating my Apple ID. How can I fix it?

I messed up my yahoo email by accidently typing yshoo and now it won't let me into anything. When I try and change it it says that my email is already in use but when I search for it, it says that there is no such ID. I'm lost and don't know how to correct it or should I delete it all together? How would I delete if so?
