How can I select multiple parts of my text on pages?

Hello, I am trying to select multiple parts of text within my pages document, so say the first line of text, then the third line, then the seventh line etc. This was usually done simply by holiding down the 'command' button and then highlighting various parts of the text, however this can no longer be done. I was just wondering if there is now a new keyboard shortcut 🙂

That useful feature, along with 90-odd other features that were present in Pages 09, are missing from Pages 5.1. Pages 5.1 is also very buggy. There have been multiple complaints of data lists, corrupted files, and files that can not be properly printed or even open. In short, as one user put it, Pages 5 is an "unmitigated disaster." Pages 09 should still be on your computer. Use that instead--or switch to Word.
