HI, I HAVE 121 GB OF STORAGE ON MY MACBOOK AIR VERSION 10.9.2. IT KEEPS COMING UP THAT I DONT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE ON MY LAPTOP. HOW DO I GET MORE STORAGE SPACE SO THAT THIS PROBLEM DOESNT OCCUR?

An alternative is to use one of the larger SD cards for storage of large files, particularly those use infrequently. Then back up both the hard drive and the SD card to an external hard drive.
