itunes stopped working on desktop

I have downloaded the latest iTunes and it stopped working. I have uninstalled it according to directions from the support site (uninstalled iTunes, bonjour, etc.) and reinstalled and it still will not work. Help! I have Windows 7 on a 32-bit system.

When I click on a playlist to play my music the error message: "iTunes has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem."


Checking something. If you open iTunes in safe mode, do you still get the crash when selecting a playlist?
