Q: Hi would it be able to locate a phone that doesn't have the find my iPhone app but is linked with my App Store account?

I lost my beloved iPhone 4s and I'm wondering if there's any miracle to try and locate it. The phone doesn't have the find my iPhone app but is linked with my App Store account. What ***** is that it doesn't include wifi with its plan. It's got a lock but it's turned on and I can call it. Any miracles you can think of? Please help!!

The find my iPhone app has nothing to do with this. You need to have find my iPhone enabled with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone.

If you don't have find my iPhone enabled with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone, there is no way to locate it.

The Find My iPhone is not required. What is required is that Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone is turned ON.
