I try to see my transaction history, but after I login it won't show me anything. Just my husband's account. Why can't I check my account?

Whose iTunes account is currently logged into on that computer's iTunes ? If your husband's then log out of it via the Store > Sign Out menu option and then sign in with your account (it will change to a Store > Sign In menu option) and you should then be able to view the purchase history of your account
