Do a
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Mar 27, 2014 4:50 PM in response to ckuanby ECMott,I tried that - it didn't help. WHat confounds me is that the system works fine in other apps (iMessage, email, notes...) the icon is just greyed out in the calendar app. and I really need it to work!

Mar 27, 2014 5:26 PM in response to ckuanby ECMott,i tried to do this - set my icloud to green for calendar. Now my entire calendar is deleted. I tried re-syncing with outlook to no avail. I also cannot syn my other calendars now. I hate icloud.

It works.
