Names disappeared from iMessage group chats.

I have had OSX Mavericks on my computer for several months and have been using iMessage as well. All of a sudden today, in my group chats, the names next to the chat bubble that indicated who sent the message disappeared. Now I have no idea who is sending me messages. How can I fix this?

OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Hi,

Make sure a Chat is selected in the Messages Window

User uploaded file

The items are greyed out if another window is "front" or the cursor is not flashing in the text field.

The same items will be dark (selectable) if a Buddy List is "Front" but the Buddy Names item higher up is the one for that.
