Ipad mini with retina display landscape multitasking issue

i have bought an ipad mini second gen. then after i used it for a while i saw a notif. saying it has a new update which is ios 7.1 however after the update it is great but after a while when the landscape mode is in use and i do multitasking when i hover it to the homescreen it is messed up namely it is displayed like it is between the two pages of the homescreen (between homescreen 1 and homescreen 2) further observation..... i discovered when it is happening.... it is happening when i opened an app like facebook on portrait mode then switch it on landscape mode and do the multitasking and hover to the homescreen tab it is messed up again it only happens during landscape mode and whenever i do that pattern anyone can help me through this?
