Q: Since upgrading to Maverick, Audio MIDI doesn't work

I don't get it, Why doesn't the audio MIDI work?

OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Do you mean the Audio MIDI Setup?

If so, please explain more about "doesn't work"?

Doesn't launch?
Can't change settings?
The changes don't stick?
Something else?

Meaning the audioMidi launches but freezes and I have to force quit. It now doesn't recognizes my interface as a midi source so even when I launch my software, I get a message that no midi device or driver is available. When frozen I am unable to even setup one. So I can't even change settings or anything.
