Can anyone help?

I installed the latest update of itunes and plugged my atv into my computer and itunes no longer recognizes it. There is just a blinking light and no restore option in itunes.

Did you follow the steps exactly? Unplugging all cables, then connecting via micro usb? Make sure to plug directly into computer and not a keyboard port or USB hub. Try a different cable

I used the same cable that I used before and it worked before. I tried a different cable as well and still nothing. It is plugged directly into the computer.
