i have a power pc g4 mac mini running panther, i want to upgrade it to tiger because it can't run leopard very well. anyone know where i can get tiger?

There is no cost to calling Apple (800-MY-APPLE) and give them the model and serial number and see if they will provide a Tiger replacement disc. If they do, it will cost about $17.

Except that the OP is running Panther, so Tiger would not be a 'replacement disk'.
There is anecdotal evidence on this forum that some Apple reps have looked favorably upon requests for Leopard "replacement" discs even though the requester's original OS was Tiger. So by analogy...
All they can say to him is NO!
Worth the attempt; especially since sales on eBay or Amazon of versions of OS X no longer offered by Apple tend to be way overpriced!
